Funding that doesn't become another thing on your desk.

You already know why clients need this. The question is whether the funding company is going to make it your problem. We built our process around not doing that.

Our commitments to your firm

Six things we will always do.

Ask once, and ask specifically

Your paralegal gets a named list — the incident report, treatment records and bills to date, coverage information, and any demand already sent. Not "please forward the file." Most firms are done in one reply.

Never charge your firm

Our services cost your office nothing. There is no fee, no split, and no referral arrangement in either direction. We do not pay attorneys for referrals and we would not ask you to accept one.

Stay out of your case

We take no role in litigation strategy, case valuation or settlement authority, and we never contact the defense or an insurer. Those decisions belong to you and your client. Full stop.

Never fund behind your back

We cannot. Underwriting requires the file and the agreement requires an attorney acknowledgment. If a client applies, you will know.

Deliver the bad news ourselves

If we decline a case, we tell your client directly and explain why. You do not have to be the one to call them, and you are not left managing a disappointment we created.

Treat the file as confidential

Documents come to us under your client's written authorization, are used only to underwrite the request, and are never disclosed to the defense, an insurer or anyone else. Nothing we ask for waives privilege.

The real argument

A client who can't make rent is a settlement problem.

You have had this call. The client who was going to hold out is suddenly asking what the insurer offered, whether that is really the best they can do, and how fast they could have it.

Defense counsel and adjusters understand this dynamic perfectly. Delay is cheap for them and expensive for your client, and the pressure lands on you: weekly status calls, a client who has lost faith in the process, and a settlement conversation driven by a car payment rather than by case value.

Funding does not change what a case is worth. It changes whether your client can afford to wait for it.

What changes for your file

  • Fewer "can we just take the offer" conversations
  • Client stays in treatment instead of stopping over co-pays
  • Room to let a case develop before valuing it
  • Negotiating leverage that survives a slow adjuster
  • One fewer reason for a client to change firms

What does not change

Your fee agreement, your case strategy, your settlement authority, your duty of confidentiality, and your independent professional judgment. We are a party to a transaction with your client, not to your representation.

Working with us

The whole workflow, from your side.

  1. Your client applies, or you refer them

Send them to the application, call us with the client on the line, or have them text us. All three work.

  2. We get authorization from the client

Signed, in writing, before we contact your office. You are never asked to release anything without it.

  3. Your paralegal gets one email

A named document list and a single point of contact who will not chase them. If something is not available yet, tell us and we will work with what exists.

  4. We underwrite and decide

Typically about 24 hours from receipt of documents. We communicate the outcome to your client, and copy your office if they want us to.

  5. Acknowledgment and funding

If your client accepts, you receive a short acknowledgment confirming payment from proceeds at disbursement. It creates no obligation on your firm beyond honoring the lien out of the recovery.

  6. Payoff at settlement

Call or email us for a payoff figure whenever you need one. We answer the same day, and we do not make you wait on a portal.

On ethics

Consumer legal funding is a transaction between the funder and your client. Rules on attorney financial assistance to clients, referral compensation and independent judgment vary by jurisdiction, and applying them is your call, not ours. We will not ask you to do anything that implicates them: no referral fees, no guarantees from your firm, no participation in strategy. If your state or your carrier requires a particular form of acknowledgment or disclosure, tell us and we will use it.
