1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to information collected through this website, through our application and contact forms, and by phone, text or email in connection with a funding inquiry. "We", "us" and "our" mean Hello World Homes LLC doing business as Hello World Funding.

This website is intended for use by residents of the United States who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact information — your name, phone number, email address and the state you live in.
• Claim information — the type of case, roughly when the incident occurred, the amount of funding you are requesting, and anything you choose to tell us about your injuries or circumstances.
• Attorney information — your law firm, your attorney's name and their contact details.
• Prior funding information — whether you have taken an advance on the same claim and from whom.
• Payment details — if you are approved and accept an offer, the bank or delivery information needed to send you funds.

Information we obtain from your attorney

With your written authorization, we request case documents from your attorney's office. These typically include the incident or police report, medical records and bills, insurance coverage information, and pleadings or a demand package. We use them only to evaluate and service your funding request.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location derived from IP.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and (where applicable) to measure advertising. See section 7.
• Call data — if you call us, we may record the call for quality and training. You will be told at the start of the call.

We do not run a credit check as part of underwriting and we do not obtain a consumer report about you for that purpose.

3. How we use your information

• To evaluate, underwrite, approve or decline a funding request.
• To contact you about your application, your agreement, or a question you asked us.
• To coordinate with your attorney's office about documents, acknowledgments and payoff.
• To fund an approved advance and to service it through settlement.
• To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.
• To detect and prevent fraud, impersonation and abuse.
• To improve the website and our service, and — only with your consent — to send you marketing communications.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share or sell your application as a sales lead to other funding companies, lenders, law firms or marketers.

We do share information in these situations:

• Your attorney and their staff — necessarily, to obtain documents, deliver an acknowledgment, and arrange payoff at settlement.
• Service providers — vendors who work on our behalf under contract, such as our website host, form and email providers, e-signature platform, phone system, payment and banking partners, and document storage. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Funding and underwriting partners — where a transaction is participated, syndicated or assigned, and only under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena or court order, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
• Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

5. Calls and text messages

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box on a form, you agree that we may contact you at that number by phone, text and email regarding your inquiry and your funding request, including by automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of receiving funding.

Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. You may also opt out at any time by calling (323) 366-8083 or emailing info@helloworldfunding.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of the website in transit, access controls limiting case files to the personnel who need them, and vendor agreements requiring confidentiality. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not email confidential case documents to us unsolicited. When we need documents we will tell you how to send them securely.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the site, plus analytics that help us understand which pages people use. Where we use advertising or call-tracking technologies, they may set identifiers used to measure the performance of our campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

8. Data retention

We keep application and funding records for as long as needed to service the transaction and thereafter for the period required by our legal, tax, audit and recordkeeping obligations. Declined applications and inquiries are retained for a shorter period and then deleted or de-identified.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected, used and disclosed about you.
• Request a copy of that information, or that it be transferred to you or another party.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under state privacy laws.
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where required by law we will notify you directly.
